Our third concert is an a cappella choral tribute to one of Chicago’s most renowned classical musicians, one of Vox Venti’s most enthusiastic supporters, and Ed’s dear father, Sir Andrew Davis, who passed away in April 2024. Featured composers are Ken Burton, Ed Frazier Davis, Edward Elgar, Herbert Howells, Hubert Parry, Daniel Sabzghabaei, Arthur Sullivan, Michael Tippett, and Ralph Vaughan Williams, plus two new commissions, by celebrated English composers Gabriel Jackson and Roxanna Panufnik.
