Loving and Thoughtful Hands
We will be your refuge.
Our season opener presents a concert of music on the themes of nurturing and refuge. The centerpiece of the evening will be To the Hands by Pulitzer Prize-winner Caroline Shaw for choir and string quintet. Also featured will be works by Nathaniel Dett, Eriks Ešenvalds, and Daniel Godsil, a world premiere by Vox Venti director Ed Frazier Davis, and Visions of a Child by Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate in celebration of Indigenous People’s Day.
